All Hail Yeezus! The head of G.O.O.D music announced his first solo tour in five years this fall with help from Kendrick Lamar. The “Yeezus Tour” kicks off next month and will stop at cities all over North America including a few stops in Canada.
Mr. West made headlines with his latest album, Yeezus, but was met with mixed reviews. The album included features by Kid Cudi and Chief Keef with production assistance from the great Rick Rubin. The rapper also had the world abuzz with his latest interview with mom-in-law, Kris Jenner where he gushed over fatherhood, his love for Kim, and even shared the first pictures of North West, who is gorgeous by the way. Now the rapper, turns heads once again with his first tour since Watch the Throne in 2011 and the first solo tour since 2008′s “Glow in the Dark Tour”.
West will hit major cities including Los Angeles, Denver, Boston, and Atlanta. The rapper will hit the stage at both the Barclays Center and Madison Square Garden with Kendrick Lamar surprising absent at the NY shows. Could his “Control” verse have something to do with it? Kendrick had been receiving a little bit of flack for calling himself the Kind of New York.
Tickets go on sale next Friday, September 13.
