Fresh off his major label debut album, Kendrick Lamar performed at the Black Friday Music festival that took place in Boca Raton, Florida on November 23rd. The west coast rapper performed tracks off of good kid, m.A.A.d city, along with fan favorites such as “ADHD” off of his independent LP Section 80.
Kendrick appeared along the likes of Good Music’s Pusha T and Kid Ink at the post Thanksgiving Festival at the Sunset Cove amphitheater.
The Black Friday music festival, hosted by DJ Irie, features various music genres from electro/pop to hip hop. Kendrick Lamar headlines the show in his first performance in Florida after the release of GKMC. The Compton rapper was welcomed by the crowd who seemed to know every song from the newcomer.
